From Delegate Manno:
INTERN POSITIONS: I am writing to request interns for “Interim 2008 Session” the period between now and the end of the 2008 when most constituent work and legislative development is done. Interns will do very substantive work developing legislation, facilitating constituent and interest group correspondence, attending events, among other work. Recent interns have actually written legislation, some of which we have passed into law. Having done several internships myself, I understand the importance of hands-on, substantive work, and I will ensure that their experience is very rewarding. Applicants should have a desire to do legislative work and make a difference.
